3rd Annual Communion Retreat

Apr 17, 2025
1 min read

Fr. Tom and Mrs. Jenkins welcomed 200 families to the Shrine's 3rd Annual First Communion Retreat. It was a success for students, catechists, and families. The day provided a spiritually enriching experience, helped students deepen their understanding of God's love in the sacraments, improved their knowledge in demonstrating reverence when receiving our Lord, and enhanced their understanding of Christ's True Presence in the Eucharist.

We look forward to the First Communicants joining us to celebrate St. Rita's Feast Day on May 22, 2025 at 7 p.m. The children will participate in the Procession of Roses to honor our patroness. This year marks the 125th anniversary of St. Rita's canonization.

I’ve found that over the years, my understanding of these recurring events deepens, and that’s precisely what you’ve captured here https://payid.com.au/ The way you broke down the significance of this particular retreat was unlike anything I've encountered; it offered a fresh perspective that I'm still processing. Your conviction in this interpretation of the "3rd annual" feels so well-earned, and it’s clear you’ve put a lot of thought into it. I also really appreciate your approach of keeping resources readily available…
